About The Position
Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to Price Chopper customers. Slices, cuts, and wraps deli products for consumption to promote sales opportunities. Maintains a clean and sanitized workstation in accordance with corporate and state sanitation regulations.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Satisfactory performance reviews.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic literacy.
- Basic computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service.
- Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers when fulfilling their requests; end each transaction with a thank you.
- Provide sampling and suggestive selling.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
- Handle, merchandise, and cook deli products according to company standards.
- Prepare in-store-made prepared food programs.
- Prepare chickens and side orders for the Roaster Chicken program.
- Perform department sanitation duties in accordance with corporate and state regulations, including mopping, sweeping, emptying garbage, and cleaning production equipment.
- Control shrink by following related policies and procedures.
- Maintain cold case, hot food, and cooling logs in accordance with store policy.
- Perform other related duties assigned by management and adhere to company policies and procedures.
