About The Position

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to Price Chopper customers. Prepares and presents seafood products in display cases to support sales, accurately fulfills seafood special orders such as shrimp platters, and follows corporate and state sanitation regulations. Pay is based on experience; the posted starting pay amount is blank.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic literacy skills.
• Satisfactory performance reviews.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service.
• Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers when fulfilling their requests.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Assist with preparing and presenting Seafood department products, including preparing, pricing, stocking, and maintaining the seafood case.
• Perform Seafood department sanitation duties, including cleaning dishes, food cases, and floors according to corporate and state regulations.
• Maintain a high level of customer courtesy and service.
• Ensure customer special orders, such as shrimp platters, are accurate.
• Operate Seafood department equipment, including product weight scales, ovens, and cleaning utensils.
• Learn to set the ice display to corporate standards and become proficient at doing so.
• Promote sales through suggestive selling, sampling, and PA announcements.
• Control shrink by following related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and follow company policies and procedures.
