About The Position

CHS Inc. is seeking a full-time Food Service Crew Member for its Cenex Zip Trip convenience store, store 39, in Kalispell, Montana. The role supports a positive and efficient customer experience in a fast-paced store environment through customer service, cashiering, merchandising, and store upkeep. The position generally works 40 hours per week, with schedule flexibility.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in retail and/or retail merchandising and customer service.
Must meet the minimum age requirement.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English with customers and coworkers.
Basic math and computer skills to operate store equipment, including cash registers and time- and record-keeping computer systems.
Ability to stand, squat, bend, and repeatedly lift up to 55 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers promptly and courteously and assisting them with purchases or checkout.
Perform cashier duties, including accepting payments and issuing receipts.
Display and organize products so customers can locate them easily.
Maintain store appearance through dusting, cleaning, and restocking shelves.
Order merchandise and track inventory as assigned.
Monitor customers to assist with loss prevention.
Assist with preparing displays and promotions.
Follow safety policies, training, personal protective equipment procedures, and regulations; identify and communicate hazards and address unsafe actions or conditions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
