Food Service Associate

About The Position

The Food Service Associate primarily completes sales transactions within the establishment and performs support functions, which may include cleaning food, display, and stock areas and assisting with stocking activities. The associate also performs other responsibilities as directed by the business or assigned by management. Employees receive direct supervision within the framework of well-defined United Pacific company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work varying shifts, including overnight shifts and holidays.
Ability to concentrate in a fast-paced restaurant environment while managing multiple tasks.
Basic mathematical skills and knowledge.
Demonstrated interest and willingness to serve the public in a positive manner at all times.
Ability to work in small spaces at times.
Ability to endure prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and stooping, and adhere to proper techniques to ensure safety.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds across short distances.
Ability to occasionally push and pull with the arms up to a force of 20 pounds, such as when utilizing a hand truck.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Cash handling experience preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
