Dishwasher Food Service Associate Full Time
About The Position
Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise is hiring a Food Service Associate for its Food and Nutrition Services Department. The role prepares and assembles food items for patients on regular and modified diets and for cafeteria customers, delivers and retrieves patient food trays, serves cafeteria customers, and cleans and sanitizes food service equipment and work areas. The associate also assists in the dish room as needed and may shuttle food products to locations off the main hospital campus. The position requires basic reading and oral communication skills and the ability to operate Food Service equipment. The associate must be able to disassemble and reassemble machines for cleaning. If shuttling products off campus is required, a driver's license record will be required along with a valid Idaho driver's license. Previous food service experience is helpful. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. The position is scheduled for at least 40 hours per week and may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The schedule is subject to change.
