Full Time Food Service Associate
About The Position
Immanuel Communities is hiring a full-time Food Service Associate/Dietary Aide at Newport House in Omaha, Nebraska. Newport House provides skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care. The position averages 28 or more hours per week and follows a two-week rotating schedule. Holiday availability is required when a holiday falls on a normally scheduled workday. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Pay is up to $18.31 per hour, with the amount based on experience, certifications, skills, and education; pay is straight pay with no tips. The role supports meal service and cafeteria operations, including assembling patient trays, operating and cleaning the dishwasher, serving cafeteria patrons, using the cash register, and maintaining relevant records, inventories, surveys, and other controls. Prior food service or dietary aide experience in a healthcare setting is preferred; cash-handling experience is preferred for cafeteria duties. A background check and drug screen are required before hire. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities
- Assist with patient tray line assembly.
