About The Position

SSA Group is hiring a Dishwasher to support food service operations at a cultural attraction. The role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes and kitchen equipment, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization, and helping ensure safe food preparation and a sanitary, welcoming experience for guests. The Dishwasher works with the kitchen team and reports to the Kitchen Manager(s) and Chef Team. The position also includes contributing to an inclusive and supportive team environment, supporting sustainability and conservation efforts, and participating in community engagement activities. This is an hourly, non-exempt role. Pay is based on a range and takes relevant job experience and certification or education into consideration.

Requirements

Must be willing and able to stand for long periods.
Ability to keep up with dish volume and organize the work area as business needs require.
Knowledge of MSDS and active cleanliness practices in the dish area, including following protocols for dish-liquid use.
Commitment to sanitation requirements and presenting a clean, welcoming experience for guests.
No previous experience required.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize dishes and kitchen equipment, including utensils, pots, and pans, to meet safe food preparation standards.
Work with the kitchen team to ensure dishes and equipment are stored properly.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
Empty and clean trash and recycling receptacles, ensuring proper waste separation.
Maintain a sanitary and organized work environment.
Understand and uphold company policies and procedures.
Maintain cleaning schedules and complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
Perform other tasks as necessary.
Promote an inclusive and supportive approach within the Brand team and across units.
Support efforts to remove barriers and empower growth and opportunity for team members at all levels.
Lead by example in sustainability and conservation efforts, and share knowledge with unit staff as needed.
Engage with SSA and the unit in community activities and opportunities to give back.
