About The Position
The Food Service Assistant works in the Food Service department serving communities in Macomb County. The role prepares and serves meals to patients, employees, and visitors and supports a positive dining experience in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment. The position also supports cashiering, diet office tasks, inventory and supply restocking, and dish room operations while following food safety standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or six months to one year of previous work experience in a food service or cash handling setting.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English, and follow oral and written instructions.
Nice To Haves
- Personal computer and data entry skills.
