About The Position
The Food Service Assistant works in the food service area at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, providing friendly, excellent customer service to patients, employees, and visitors. The role supports the hospital’s commitment to the people it serves by helping maintain the highest food safety standards. The position has a mix of possible shifts: 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., 10:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m., or 4:00 p.m.–7:30 p.m. The schedule is one day a week and every other weekend.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform required duties.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- One year of previous food service experience in a healthcare environment or as a cook is preferred.
