About The Position
The Food Service Assistant II performs a wide variety of duties involved in preparing and/or serving foods and beverages in one or more food service environments. The role is responsible for assembling, serving, and/or delivering meals to patients and/or staff efficiently, professionally, and on time. As part of a team, the position helps ensure food safety and quality for patients, visitors, and staff. This is a part-time position at Linden Oaks Hospital in Naperville, Illinois, for 20 hours per week. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts of 5:30 a.m.–2 p.m. or 11 a.m.–7:30 p.m., and rotating weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Successfully complete an ANSI-accredited Food Handler Training Certificate Program within 30 days of the position's start date.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of food service experience in a healthcare setting.
