About The Position
The Cook prepares specified menu items for patients, the cafeteria, and catered services. The role ensures adherence to sanitation, safety, and food-handling procedures. This is a full-time position at Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, Illinois, scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., with every other weekend and rotating holidays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or at least two years of cooking experience in an institutional setting.
- Food Handler Training Certificate Program (ANSI Accredited) within 30 days of the position start date for employees working on their ServSafe Manager Certificate (ANSI).
