About The Position

Anna Maria of Aurora is hiring a full-time Food Service Aide to help create a positive dining experience for residents in its Skilled Nursing Facility and Assisted Living community. The role includes serving meals and beverages, honoring residents’ dietary needs and preferences, preparing and delivering trays, carts, snacks, and beverages, and helping keep dining areas clean and safe. A friendly, dependable, service-oriented approach and a willingness to learn are valued. No experience is required; previous food service experience is a plus. The full-time schedule is 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Part-time evening shifts are also mentioned in the posting, but the advertised position is full-time.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
No experience required.

Responsibilities

Serve food and beverages to residents in accordance with their dietary needs, preferences, and special instructions.
Provide courteous service to residents and their families.
Set up dining rooms, meal trays, and food carts as instructed.
Deliver trays, food carts, meals, snacks, and beverages to designated areas.
Distribute and collect menus as needed.
Assist with dishwashing and scheduled cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.
Work with team members to ensure residents receive attentive, quality service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
