About The Position

The Food Service Aide/Dietary Aide performs patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services at a critical illness recovery hospital. The role supports food preparation and serves prepared food to patients, families, staff, and visitors, as well as assisting with cleanup. The position is PRN/per diem in Evansville, Indiana, and pays $16 per hour. The hospital provides an extensive orientation program and notes that strong performance may lead to potential full-time opportunities. Part-time and per-diem employees may qualify for 401(k) eligibility after reaching 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or a subsequent calendar year.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services.
• Assist with food preparation and serve prepared food to patients, families, staff, and visitors.

• Complete scheduled procedures during the shift without compromising work quality.
