About The Position

The Food Service Aide/Dietary Aide performs patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services at a critical illness recovery hospital in Evansville, Indiana. The role contributes to food preparation and serves prepared food to patients, families, staff, and visitors, as well as assisting with cleanup. The position is PRN/per diem and pays $16 per hour. The hospital provides inpatient post-ICU care for chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery.

Nice To Haves

• Previous healthcare food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services.
• Assist with food preparation and serve prepared food to patients, families, staff, and visitors.
• Assist with cleanup.
• Prepare food in a timely and efficient manner and provide high-quality food preparation and service.
• Complete all scheduled procedures during the shift without compromising work quality.
• Volunteer to help in other kitchen areas when necessary.
• Operate equipment and perform related duties safely.
