Food Server - Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse - MGM Grand
About The Position
As a Food Server at Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse inside MGM Grand, you will provide attentive, personalized service in an upscale dining environment inspired by the Four Sixes Ranch and Western hospitality. You will take and deliver food and beverage orders, maintain assigned tables, ensure guest satisfaction, and process payments accurately. The role involves presenting premium Texas ranch beef, steakhouse offerings, and handcrafted beverages, completing side work, keeping assigned stations clean and organized, and collaborating with the restaurant team to provide a seamless guest experience.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of Food and Beverage experience in a high-paced environment, with food service experience preferred.
- Prior food server experience in a luxury dining or steakhouse environment preferred.
- Experience working in a similar resort setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome.
- Use knowledge of selling techniques and service delivery for menu items across every course and for nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain table cleanliness using a silent service approach.
- Itemize bills correctly and secure payment efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness and stock of assigned areas, side stations, tables, and Point of Sale (POS) stations.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
- Communicate with management, chefs, and culinary staff to fulfill and address needs or issues raised by guests or employees.
- Complete side work and help keep assigned stations clean and organized.
