About The Position

As a Food Server at Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse inside MGM Grand, you will help deliver an upscale dining experience inspired by the legendary Four Sixes Ranch and authentic Western hospitality. You will provide attentive, personalized service by taking and delivering food and beverage orders, maintaining assigned tables, ensuring guest satisfaction, and processing payments accurately. You will present premium Texas ranch beef, signature steakhouse offerings, and handcrafted beverages. You will also complete side work, keep assigned stations clean and organized, and collaborate with the restaurant team to provide a seamless experience for guests.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• 5+ years of food and beverage experience in a high-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Food service experience preferred.
• Prior food server experience in a luxury dining or steakhouse environment preferred.
• Experience working in a similar resort setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome.
• Use knowledge of selling techniques and service delivery for menu items across every course, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain table cleanliness using a silent service approach.
• Itemize bills correctly and secure payment efficiently.
• Maintain the cleanliness and stock of assigned areas, side stations, tables, and Point of Sale (POS) stations.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
• Communicate with management, chefs, and culinary staff to fulfill and address requests or issues raised by guests or employees.
• Complete side work and maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned stations.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders, maintain assigned tables, ensure guest satisfaction, and process payments accurately.
