About The Position

The Food Server greets and communicates with guests in a friendly, courteous manner; receives and processes food and beverage orders using a computerized guest check system; retrieves prepared orders from the kitchen and delivers them to guests; and presents checks, collects payment, or delivers payment to the cashier. The role also involves carrying and balancing trays or pushing carts through the kitchen and dining room, and maintaining cleanliness in all dining room areas.

Requirements

• Six months of food and beverage service experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of food specialty or cuisine and service standards in the specific room strongly preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Ability to use a computer system for placing food and beverage orders and processing payments.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Nice To Haves
