Food Server

About The Position
Food Servers are the department’s front line of customer service and work to ensure customer satisfaction. They greet customers, relay sandwich orders to the cook, serve soup and hot beverages, maintain a clean soup station, restock paper goods, and ensure products are displayed safely and invitingly. They may also be assigned other duties.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age; must be at least 18 to operate certain equipment.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to follow a series of safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Must be willing to sometimes work longer than the specified shift.
- Must accept varied weekly work hours depending on weather, holidays, and other factors.
- Must be a respectful, safe team player.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and inquire about their needs or day.
- Relay sandwich orders to the cook.
- Serve soup and hot beverages.
- Keep the soup station clean and tidy.
- Restock paper goods as needed.
- Ensure products are displayed in a safe and inviting manner.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
