About The Position

The Food Runner assists servers and bartenders in creating a distinctive guest experience. This role suits a fun, professional person who thrives in an upbeat, fast-paced environment and is passionate about exceptional food and guest service. The position is part-time, typically 8–29 hours per week depending on business forecasts. Shifts are mostly 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., but schedules vary with business demand. The role requires availability for Texas A&M football game days, Ring Days, graduations, and other high-occupancy special events; overtime may be expected when business levels require it. Compensation is $9 per hour plus tips, paid biweekly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pleasant personality.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be available to work Texas A&M football game days, Ring Days, graduations, and other high-occupancy special events.
• Must be available for a schedule that varies based on business forecasts and may include overtime when business levels require it.

Nice To Haves

• One year of restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers and bartenders in fulfilling guest needs.
• Assist with marking and pre-bussing tables.
• Act as a liaison between the kitchen and public areas for the outlets during service.
• Coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table.
• Sanitize and clear tables promptly and unobtrusively.
• Maintain knowledge of all restaurant menus offered.
• Provide water and bread to guests throughout their meals.
• Respond quickly and attentively to mishaps in the outlets.
• Become familiar with property amenities and other restaurants.
• Maintain clean workplace areas and a professional image and uniform.
• Restock for the next day.
• Follow the property’s Aggie Path of P.R.I.D.E. expectations, including positivity, respect, integrity, dedication, and excellence.
