About The Position

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is seeking a Food Runner who brings enthusiasm and a commitment to excellence to guest service. Food Runners help shape the guest experience by demonstrating knowledge of the Resort and applying the Four Seasons Golden Rule in every interaction. Work authorization in the United States is required. The role involves delivering food from the kitchen to guests accurately and promptly; helping clear, clean, and set up tables and service items; greeting guests according to Four Seasons standards; anticipating guest needs; and completing assigned opening and closing sidework. Food Runners provide an enjoyable, expertly served dining and beverage experience consistent with Four Seasons standards for quality, professionalism, and friendliness.

Requirements

Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience.
Legal work authorization in the United States.
Ability to carry and balance a tray.
Ability to accurately read food tickets and communicate orders with the kitchen and servers.
Weekend and holiday availability.
Must obtain a Tuberculosis (TB) clearance card as required by the Hawaii State Department of Health for food and beverage work.

Responsibilities

Deliver food from the kitchen to guests accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist with clearing, cleaning, and setting up tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware unobtrusively.
Greet guests according to Four Seasons standards to ensure superior service.
Anticipate and serve guest needs before they make requests.
Complete assigned opening and closing sidework.
Ensure tables are set according to standard.
Provide guests with an enjoyable, expertly served beverage and dining experience consistent with Four Seasons standards for quality, professionalism, and friendliness.
