Food Runner - Restaurant
About The Position
The Lambertville Station Inn is seeking experienced, team-oriented candidates for a Food Runner position. The role involves preparing and maintaining the work station, ensuring dishes are presentable, and coordinating with waiting and kitchen staff. Candidates must be willing to work weekdays, weekends, and/or holidays. The position is performed in a kitchen environment that may involve noise, heat, temperature changes, kitchen elements, odors, and moisture. Noise levels are usually mild to moderate. The role requires moderate physical effort, including standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling, pushing, and lifting weights up to 50 pounds. The employee may also be required to sit, handle or feel objects, reach, talk, and hear, and must have close, distance, and color vision and the ability to focus.
Requirements
- Experienced candidate.

- Ability to perform moderate physical tasks, including standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to focus.
Responsibilities
- Set up the work station before the diner opens.
- Ensure dishes are presentable and have the proper garnish.
- Maintain plates and silverware.
- Maintain communication with waiting staff and kitchen staff.
- Ensure all equipment is clean.
- Restock the work station.
- Remain polite and professional.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the manager.
