About The Position

The Food Runner serves guest needs by assisting the Food Server with delivering food from the kitchen and completing guest requests. The role delivers food accurately and promptly, supports table and buffet setup and clearing, and helps maintain service supplies. Food Runners anticipate guest needs, respond to concerns and requests, and work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. This is a full-time position on a rotating schedule at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico.

Requirements

Average reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English and Spanish.
Minimum one year of food and beverage service experience or equivalent.
Ability to carry and balance a tray.
Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
Basic food and beverage service knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver food from the kitchen to guests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Assist with clearing, cleaning, and setting up tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware; greet guests according to Four Seasons Standards.
Anticipate guest needs, check satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Assist in stocking linens, china, glassware, silverware, and food items for service; help prepare smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages.
Assist with breaking down, cleaning, and setting up buffets and food stations.
Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
