About The Position

As a Food Runner, you will follow these core values while chasing that “perfect game” and assure that the fun never stops while working in the front of house area. The Food Runner will deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables or venue bowling lanes rapidly and accurately. Typically serves as a point of contact between Front of House and Back of House staff.

Requirements

• Able to understand and follow directions.
• Can understand and meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and Excellence.
• Ability to remain alert and focused in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced.
• Ability to work effectively with BOH and FOH staff.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Ability to move at least 40 pounds.
• Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining and maintaining a working knowledge of all food menus including any carryout and catering menus.
• Assuring guests have everything they need on the tables after delivery of food.
• Placing food servings on plates or trays according to orders or instructions.
• Examining trays to ensure that they contain required items.
• Loading trays with accessories, such as eating utensils, napkins, or condiments.
• Removing trays and stacking dishes for return to the kitchen after meals are finished.
• Stocking service stations with items like ice, napkins, or straws.
• Communicating effectively and courteously with guests and co-workers.
• Assisting all servers, bartenders, and managers with carrying plates.
• Promoting an atmosphere of teamwork by assisting co-workers.
• Washing glassware as necessary.
• Making coffee as necessary.
• Aiding in moving and installing kegs of beer.
• Answering questions from customers and refilling drinks as needed.
• Communicating customer concerns and complaints to the manager on duty.
• Taking on other duties as assigned.
