Taverna - Austin Downtown is looking for an exceptional Food Runner to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a team setting, enjoy staying active, and are passionate about providing great service.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, bend, reach, and carry heavy trays with ease.
• Comfortable standing and moving for long periods.
• Weekend Availability.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in restaurants is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of our guests' preferred languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Swiftly deliver dishes from the kitchen to guests.
• Double-check every plate for accuracy, presentation, and guest preferences.
• Communicate clearly with chefs and servers to ensure smooth operations.
• Serve drinks and assist servers during peak times.
• Answer guest questions about ingredients and menu items.
• Help maintain the dining room's cleanliness by setting tables, clearing plates, and ensuring guests feel cared for.
