About The Position

The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate table promptly, ensuring that all food items are presented correctly and in a visually appealing manner. This role involves communication with servers and kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy, assisting with table bussing and resetting, and providing excellent customer service. The Food Runner must also follow all health and safety guidelines, comply with alcohol service laws, maintain stock and cleanliness of the server station, and complete opening and closing checklists. Reporting any comments or complaints to management and maintaining equipment are also key duties. The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a willingness to perform other duties as assigned by Management.

  • Punctual and professional in manner and appearance
  • Work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate table promptly
  • Ensure that all food items are presented correctly and in a visually appealing manner
  • Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure that orders are accurate and complete
  • Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests
  • Provide excellent customer service to all guests
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines
  • Provide excellent service by greeting members and guests by name
  • Consistently comply with state, local, and club laws/policies relating to the service of alcohol
  • Ensure adequate supplies and stock are maintained in the server station
  • Follow and complete opening and closing checklists for assigned areas including daily and weekly cleaning duties
  • Report comments or complaints to a manager on duty as they occur
  • Maintain and clean equipment, and keep all areas clean and organized
  • Any other duties as assigned by Management
