About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking runner to join our team at Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine. As a runner, you will support the service team by ensuring that high quality food is served to guests accurately, while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the front-of-house areas. Your role is essential in creating a positive dining experience by assisting clearing and resetting tables to company standards, handling guest requests, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

At least one year of work experience in a similar role is highly preferred
Standing and walking up to eight hours continuously
Lifting up to 25 lbs alone, and up to 50lbs as a team

Responsibilities

Prepare the service window area for efficient service
Garnish dishes as specified to enhance presentation and appeal
Ensure ticket accuracy and uphold quality control standards
Communicate any quality issues to the chef or manager promptly
Deliver food to tables accurately and with silent service
Provide detailed information about food to guests upon delivery
Pre-bus tables to maintain a clean dining environment
Assist with general guest requests to enhance their dining experience
Collaborate with team to address guest needs; escalate concerns to management as necessary
Maintain a clean and organized station, thoroughly cleaning at the end of each shift
Adhere to all health and safety regulation
Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return, using authentic Turkish phrases
Roll silverware and set up dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties
Stock service areas with supplies such as condiments, food, tableware, paper goods, and linens
Pack and prepare to-go orders
Inform manager on duty of any guest issues or concerns
Maintain running side work
