About The Position
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Food Runner for Sortino’s Italian Kitchen. The role provides friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for guests. The Food Runner works as part of the restaurant team and follows the Kalahari Promise’s core values and service expectations, helping deliver positive guest experiences through a professional and helpful attitude. The starting rate is $14.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must frequently lift and balance trays and busser tubs.
- Must be able to work and be flexible with all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter them into the point-of-sale system for transmission to the kitchen and bar.
- Deliver food and beverage orders from the kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner, using appropriate service trays.
- Assist fellow associates, including servers, bussers, hosts or hostesses, and management, as situations arise.
- Participate as a team member and follow Kalahari’s core values and service expectations.
