About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Food Runner for Sortino's Italian Kitchen. The role provides friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience. The Food Runner works as part of the restaurant team, delivering meals promptly and accurately while ensuring food quality and presentation meet expectations. The position also supports servers, improves workflow, and helps maintain smooth and efficient dining operations. Associates are expected to embody Kalahari's Promise to Lead with Love and follow its core values and service expectations.

Requirements

Obtain state-certified proper food-handling certification.

Nice To Haves

General food and beverage knowledge, including at least one year of front-of-the-house operations experience, is preferred.
Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverage orders from the kitchen and bar to guests using appropriate service trays in a timely manner.
Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by the service station assignment.
Assist fellow associates, including servers, bussers, hosts/hostesses, other food runners, and management, as situations arise.
Fill in as needed to support smooth and efficient restaurant operations, as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
Help ensure food quality and presentation meet guest expectations and assist servers in maintaining an efficient workflow.
