About The Position
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Server for Sortino’s Italian Kitchen. The role provides friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for guests. Servers are expected to participate actively as part of a team and follow the core values and service expectations in the Kalahari Promise. The position calls for professionalism and a helpful attitude while supporting a positive guest experience.
Requirements
- Frequently communicate and develop rapport with guests and associates, and maintain a working relationship with resort management.
- Be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods.
- Be flexible and able to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests, share specials, provide menu tours, recommend items, and communicate menu changes.
- Answer questions about food, beverages, restaurant functions and services, and resort services and activities.
- Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system for transmission to the kitchen and bar.
- Complete assigned side work at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Work as part of a team and follow Kalahari’s core values and service expectations.
