About The Position
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Food Runner for Sortino's Italian Kitchen. The Food Runner provides friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for guests and participates as a team member while upholding the Kalahari Promise and its service expectations. The role delivers meals promptly and accurately, ensuring food quality and presentation meet guest expectations. It also supports servers and helps maintain a smooth, efficient restaurant operation.
Requirements
- Obtain state-certified proper food handling certification.
Nice To Haves
- General food and beverage knowledge involving at least one year of front-of-the-house operations is preferred.
- Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverage orders from the kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner using appropriate service trays.
- Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by the assigned service station.
- Assist fellow associates, including servers, bussers, hosts/hostesses, other food runners, and management, as situations arise.
- Fill in as needed to support the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant, as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
