About The Position
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Busser for Sortino’s Italian Kitchen. The Busser provides friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for guests and participates as part of the restaurant team by following Kalahari’s core values and service expectations. Associates are expected to embody the company’s “Lead with Love” Promise by supporting fellow associates and contributing to a positive guest experience. The starting rate is $14.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must frequently lift and balance trays and busser tubs.
- Must be able to work and be flexible with all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Take dirty tableware to the dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, and other items in the appropriate areas for washing.
- Promptly clean tabletops, chairs, and booths between seatings.
- Check the floor and clean it as required.
- Reset and arrange tabletops.
- Assist fellow associates, including servers, bussers, hosts/hostesses, and management, as situations arise.
- Provide friendly, responsive service to guests and participate as a team member in upholding Kalahari’s core values and service expectations.
