About The Position
Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana at the Venetian Hotel is hiring an attentive, experienced, service-oriented busser for lunch and dinner. Experience in a full-service restaurant is highly desirable. The company offers an excellent training program, potential for promotion to management, employee recognition, and a full benefits package. Weekend availability is necessary. All new hires go through the E-Verify system.
Requirements
- Be attentive, experienced, and service-oriented.
- Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Have a flexible work schedule, including weekend availability.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a full-service restaurant.
- Prior experience as a busser, bus person, busboy, food runner, restaurant crew member, restaurant team member, or in other part-time front-of-house restaurant jobs.
Responsibilities
- Perform dining room setup, running side work, and closing duties.
- Perform duties assertively and aggressively while remaining friendly.
- Assist wait staff and maintain bus stations, restrooms, and the dish area.
- Participate in table maintenance and dining room cleanup.
- Maintain dining room safety and sanitation.
- Attend all employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a positive teamwork attitude.
