About The Position

As a Food & Beverage Runner at The Corner Store in The Cosmopolitan, you will join the opening team of a new restaurant concept. You will help bring the restaurant’s atmosphere to life by delivering dishes accurately, providing attentive tableside service, and supporting a smooth dining experience. You will also describe menu items, answer guest questions, and help create memorable guest experiences.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be available to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Fine dining and three-meal restaurant experience.
• Experience working in a similar resort setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome.
• Deliver food from the kitchen to tables according to the sequence of service and direction from the Chef or kitchen expediter.
• Describe dishes when placing them on the table and answer guest questions.
• Describe menu features, including changes and additions, as needed.
• Communicate with the expediter to ensure food is delivered to the correct table and position.
• Perform assigned opening and closing side-work.
• Communicate guest and kitchen needs, inform management of guest comments, and assist management in maintaining smooth operations and quality service.
• Check dining areas, tables, and chairs for cleanliness, and maintain an organized service station and area.
