About The Position

As a Runner & Stocker in The Cosmopolitan Employee Dining Room, you will handle behind-the-scenes and front-of-house responsibilities to support an efficient, polished dining operation serving a diverse clientele. The role involves receiving, organizing, storing, transporting, and replenishing goods and food products; maintaining service areas and a clean, sanitary work environment; and following food-safety requirements.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of prior relevant experience in a high-volume restaurant establishment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous busser or server assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and store goods and products using proper rotation and organization.
• Break down and dispose of boxes and packaging to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Organize receiving paperwork neatly and accurately for management.
• Take inventory of products in designated storage areas and communicate with management.
• Move and transport goods and products between hotel locations efficiently and in accordance with workplace ergonomics.
• Replenish and maintain appropriate product levels throughout the venue.
• Move or consolidate products from one vessel to another, such as transferring bulk prepped product into smaller service containers.
• Assist with restocking venue products.
• Wipe down and restock table condiments and service ware as needed.
• Collaborate on and follow prep and par lists to ensure appropriate product quantities are transferred.
• Wrap, label, and date food products in accordance with SNHD standards.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with SNHD guidelines.
• Maintain an understanding of food regulations, recite them upon request, and assist with training new employees as requested.
