About The Position

The Food Runner is responsible for making "Raving Fans" of associates, guests, purveyors, partners, and the communities in which the business operates. This involves communicating with managers, servers, and hosts, and assisting them in their duties. The role requires competence in service procedures, a willingness to help associates, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Make "Raving Fans" of associates, guests, purveyors, partners, and communities.
Communicate with managers, servers, and hosts.
Assist managers, servers, and hosts with their duties.
Report to work on time as indicated on the work schedule.
Ensure uniform meets restaurant requirements and is maintained and cleaned.
Practice positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits.
Exemplify hospitality standards.
Answer guests' questions about the restaurant.
Handle requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.
Cooperate with management and co-workers to assist others with duties, if needed.
Communicate suggestions for improvement in a positive fashion.
Follow all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
Report potentially unsafe conditions.
Use materials and equipment properly.
Know emergency procedures in the restaurant.
Perform all duties and maintain knowledge of all standards and procedures as stated in the associate handbook.
