About The Position

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a part-time Food Runner/Busser to join its Food & Beverage team. The role supports dining service by setting up and clearing tables, stocking service stations, and assisting food servers with table service to help ensure guest satisfaction. The associate will work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements

• Prior similar experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and communicate well with guests.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Willingness to pitch in, help coworkers with their duties, and work as a team player.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Ability to grasp, lift, carry, or otherwise transport up to 50 pounds through a crowded room.
• Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart or truck weighing up to 150 pounds.
• Strong multitasking and time-management abilities.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting.
• Consistently reset service ware as prescribed.
• Maintain the stock and cleanliness of stations during all meal periods, including necessary equipment such as silverware, linen, and condiments.
• Serve guests beverages, bread, and butter at the start of their dining experience and replenish them as needed.
• Transport dirty tableware from the dining room to the dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
• Follow attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Assist food servers with table service.
