Food Runner / Attendant
About The Position
We are seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and team-oriented individuals to join the culinary team for game days and special events at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The role involves running food, assisting with requests, and serving high-quality food in a fast-paced, high-volume environment to help deliver an exceptional guest experience during games and concerts. The position includes preparing, cooking, and plating menu items; operating kitchen equipment; assisting with concession stand setup and breakdown; maintaining clean and safe work areas; and communicating with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, customers, and guests.
Requirements
- Enthusiastic, dependable, and team-oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, high-volume environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays according to the stadium event schedule.
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle hot kitchen equipment.
- ServSafe Alcohol Certification, or willingness to obtain it before employment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred; concessions, quick-service restaurant, or stadium experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
- Take customer orders and prepare foods requiring short preparation times according to customer requirements.
- Grill, cook, and fry foods such as french fries, eggs, and pancakes.
- Operate grills, fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Set up, stock, and tear down equipment and concession stands before and after events.
- Maintain clean and organized workstations in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe, clean environment.
- Communicate with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, team members, and supervisors to ensure smooth kitchen operations and dining details are handled properly.
- Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers, responding to inquiries and complaints, and addressing customer concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests and fellow staff.
