About The Position
We are seeking a Food Runner to join the team at a busy restaurant. The Food Runner links the kitchen and wait staff, sets and clears tables, delivers food, and acts as a liaison between the front and back of house. This role is suited to a friendly, hard-working person interested in entering the hospitality industry.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Availability to work evening and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Serve customers their meals and drinks efficiently.
- Communicate food orders to the kitchen staff.
- Refill drinks.
- Wipe down tables, chairs, and other surfaces.
- Remove tablecloths and reset tables.
- Remove dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables.
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations.
