About The Position

This is a full-time, entry-level, non-skilled general labor position in food production at Tyson Foods in Enid, Oklahoma. The role involves packing labor while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. The position starts at $17 per hour and is on the first shift. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• Be willing and able to reach high and low levels frequently.
• Be willing and able to flex or grip with the wrists and hands occasionally (less than 5 flexions per minute).
• Be willing and able to push, pull, and lift with the arms below waist, at shoulder, and above shoulder level up to 50 pounds.
• Be willing and able to work in extreme temperatures and damp environments that may have slippery walking surfaces.
• Be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry-level general labor and packing work in food production.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow Tyson policies and procedures.
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements.
• Work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
