About The Position

This is a full-time, entry-level, non-skilled general labor position in food production as a packer at Tyson Foods in Enid, Oklahoma. The role is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures, as well as applicable safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements. The position starts at $17.45 per hour and is on the second shift. The successful candidate must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. Work may involve frequent reaching at high and low levels; occasional wrist and hand flexing or gripping; pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds at below-waist, shoulder, and above-shoulder levels; and working in extreme temperatures and damp environments with potentially slippery walking surfaces. Overtime and weekend work may be needed.

Must be able and willing to frequently reach at high and low levels.
Must be able and willing to occasionally flex or grip with wrists and hands (less than 5 flexions per minute).
Must be able and willing to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds with arms below waist, at shoulder level, and above shoulder level.
Must be able and willing to work in extreme temperatures and damp environments that may have slippery walking surfaces.
Must be able and willing to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
Must comply with safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements.
