About The Position

Gordon Food Service Store LLC is hiring a full-time Food Production Associate at its Canton, Ohio store. This role prepares food for customers in a fast-paced retail environment, with opportunities to learn and advance. The position also supports other store areas during slower periods and helps maintain food safety and sanitation standards. The listed pay is $15–$17 per hour. Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m.–8 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m.; the store is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Easter.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age; operating a meat slicer requires being at least 18.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Be able to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.
• Have basic math and computer skills.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sliced meats and cheeses, sandwiches, and wraps.
• Prepare ingredients for customer beverages.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Help with stocking, cashiering, or other food production areas during down times.
• Use a rotisserie oven to cook food up to three times per day.
• Use a broaster to cook chicken items, fish, and potato wedges as needed.
• Take temperatures of cooked and cold foods.
• Change oil in broasters.
• Provide superior customer service.
