About The Position

A Food Preparer prepares and packs meals for various airlines. The role assembles food components and equipment according to airline specifications, procedures, and assembly diagrams, and maintains production areas in compliance with sanitation standards and customer requirements. Food Preparers follow directions and work as members of a team. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• Be able to read and write to complete required forms.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
• Work the assigned schedule, which may vary and could include weekends and holidays.
• Work overtime when required.
• Arrive at work on time and comply with company policies.
• Be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds frequently during a shift.
• Regularly stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during shifts of 8 or more hours.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Up to one year of experience preferred.
