About The Position

A Food Preparer prepares and packs meals for various airlines. The role involves assembling equipment and food components according to airline specifications, procedures, and assembly diagrams, while maintaining production areas in compliance with sanitation standards and customer requirements. The position requires following directions, working as part of a team, and completing paperwork and related administrative duties. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• Be able to read and write to complete required forms.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
• Work the assigned schedule, which may vary and include weekends and holidays.
• Work overtime when required.
• Arrive at work on time and comply with company policies.
• Handle pork, poultry, meat, and fish products.
• Be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds frequently during a shift.
• Regularly stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during shifts of 8 or more hours.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Up to one year of experience preferred.
