About The Position

A Food Preparer prepares and packs meals for various airlines. The role involves assembling equipment and food components according to airline specifications, procedures, and assembly diagrams, while maintaining production areas in compliance with sanitation standards and customer requirements. The Food Preparer follows directions, works as part of a team, and may perform additional duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and write to complete required forms.
• Must communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
• Work the assigned schedule, which may vary and could include weekends and holidays.
• Work overtime when required.
• Arrive at work on time and comply with company policies.
• Handle pork, poultry, meat, and fish products.
• Lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds frequently during a shift.
• Stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during shifts of 8 or more hours.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Up to one year of work experience preferred.
