About The Position

The Food and Beverage Attendant creates positive guest interactions while taking orders, preparing and serving food and beverages, and handling transactions in a friendly and efficient manner at Great Wolf Lodge quick-service restaurants and food outlets. The role also supports outlet operations, merchandising, cleanliness, equipment upkeep, and service standards. Applicants must be at least 16 years old. The position is offered full-time, part-time, and with flexible scheduling. Pay is $16.00 per hour plus tips; tips vary by shift and location and are not guaranteed, with recent averages reported at $2–$4 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years old.
• Some high school education or equivalent.
• Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Proven customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret English-language manuals related to safety, operations, and procedures.
• Successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience demonstrating strong customer service.
• Prior experience using restaurant equipment and following sanitation standards.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize a variety of tasks with minimal direction.
• Previous experience with cash transactions and point-of-sale systems.
• Proven teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with guests to take food and beverage orders.
• Prepare customer food and beverage orders.
• Provide outstanding customer service and engage in suggestive selling.
• Maintain equipment, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and/or call for repairs.
• Assist with merchandising, including display and store design, receiving and stocking inventory, and merchandise pricing.
• Perform cash-handling functions, including using point-of-sale systems and registers and completing daily reporting.
• Ensure food and beverage outlets meet high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
• Ensure daily retail outlet operations adhere to operating procedure guidelines.
• Assist in other food outlets as needed.
