About The Position

The Food & Beverage Attendant performs a wide variety of duties, including serving, transporting food from storage to service lines, cleaning, and assisting families. The role requires adherence to The Village’s Core Values and Operating Principles. The attendant supports food-serving volunteers, helps maintain dining areas and serving lines, communicates kitchen needs to Food & Beverage management, and contributes to an excellent guest experience.

• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, reach, balance, and use hands and arms for extended periods.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds without assistance.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and/or extended hours.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to operate a motorized vehicle, including a battery-operated golf cart.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• ServSafe training.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support to food-serving volunteers.
• Assist with serving food as needed.
• Stock food court serving lines with clean and sanitized dishes, utensils, and other items as needed.
• Assist with receiving food products as needed.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas as directed.
• Communicate kitchen needs to Food & Beverage management.
• Ensure guests receive service excellence from arrival through greeting and check-in.
• Coordinate fulfillment of special-needs requests.
• Ensure food items are presented according to requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
