About The Position

Adventureland Park is hiring Food & Beverage Attendants to work in one or more food and beverage locations throughout the park. Attendants help create a positive guest experience by providing friendly service, answering questions, preparing food safely, processing transactions, and keeping work areas stocked and clean. The role offers opportunities to develop customer service, food preparation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Must be at least 14 years of age to comply with Iowa Child Labor Laws.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from scheduled shifts.
• Ability to comply with all uniform policies.
• Safety-oriented mindset and understanding of the importance of complying with state and local food preparation and serving regulations.
• Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns positively and professionally.
• Ability to engage positively with guests to promote sales and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to follow directions, multitask, and work both as part of a team and independently.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a fun and inviting manner.
• Communicate with coworkers and guests to provide exceptional customer service.
• Answer guest questions quickly and politely.
• Prepare food according to proper procedures and safety guidelines.
• Conduct point-of-sale transactions, including credit and refund transactions, while following applicable procedures and PCI and park guidelines.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and food supplies while maintaining a clean work area.
• Follow company and industry policies, procedures, and best practices to help create a safe environment for colleagues and guests.
• Monitor product quality and communicate shrinkage or waste to the lead and/or supervisor.
• Assist in other areas of the park when needed to support guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties assigned by leadership.
