About The Position

The Food & Beverage Attendant provides customer service and sales support by anticipating customer needs, suggesting products, resolving service issues, taking and delivering to-go orders, and assisting with in-house orders and order expo when possible. The role also handles customer transactions, cash, deposits, stocking, and the cleaning and sanitizing of work areas. The attendant must follow food safety procedures, handle hot products and equipment safely, meet uniform and grooming standards, and comply with regulatory, department, and company policies. Other related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to count money and change correctly.
• Availability to work the required schedule, which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate customer needs and suggest products to maximize service and sales.
• Resolve service problems according to guidelines.
• Follow food handling procedures to ensure safe, quality products.
• Complete customer sales, including taking money, counting change, processing and validating comps, and operating the cash register and Point of Sale system.
• Complete deposits at the end of each shift.
• Clean and sanitize counters and perform tasks to keep work areas attractive and safe.
• Order and stock to-go supplies and products as needed.
• Deliver to-go food items accurately and verify orders with guests.
• Assist with running in-house food orders when possible.
• Accurately take to-go orders and confirm order details before sending them to the kitchen.
• Assist with expo of to-go orders when possible.
• Safely and responsibly handle scalding hot products and equipment.
• Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
• Adhere to regulatory, department, and company policies.
• Perform all job duties safely and responsibly.
• Perform other related and compatible duties as assigned.
