About The Position

The Food and Beverage Supervisor assists with the day-to-day management of McArthur’s Restaurant at the Arizona Biltmore. The role oversees restaurant service and operations, including staff performance, service quality, expense control, revenue generation, cleanliness, food presentation, training, scheduling, supplies, and health and safety. The supervisor also helps ensure the team responds appropriately to emergencies and works to reduce risks of injury or property damage. The Arizona Biltmore is a 39-acre luxury resort in Phoenix, Arizona, with more than 700 rooms, nine food and beverage outlets, a luxury spa, seven pools, and over 200,000 square feet of banquet space. It is part of Hilton’s LXR Hotels & Resorts collection and is managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least two years of previous experience as a server.
Food Handler Certification.
TIPS Certification.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality.
Prior leadership experience.
ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

Plan, supervise, and participate in performance evaluations for subordinate staff.
Maintain targeted service quality, expense control, and revenue generation.
Oversee restaurant cleanliness, setup, opening and closing procedures, and availability of supplies and materials.
Monitor food quality and presentation.
Help update and facilitate associate training programs.
Participate in hiring restaurant associates.
Participate in developing weekly departmental work schedules.
Ensure proper health and safety procedures are followed in the outlet.
Ensure the department has adequate supplies based on business forecasts.
Create maintenance work orders and purchase orders or requisitions as needed.
Perform related duties to proactively manage restaurant operations.
Work to reduce the risk of injury to guests and associates and damage to property, and know and follow appropriate emergency procedures.
