About The Position

This role requires a strong ability to stay focused and organized, leading a group of up to 10-15 staff in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of hospitality and service standards. The supervisor will have a strong presence on the floor, ensuring assigned tasks are completed, monitoring service standards, and maintaining staff grooming. This position involves working with the event coordinator to execute F&B events and is responsible for the safe and responsible service of alcohol, adhering to all liquor laws and license conditions. The role includes providing training and support to employees to achieve guest satisfaction, communicating daily with the management team through logs and verbally, and managing employee success through one-on-ones and team coaching. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for actioning building maintenance and risk management in and around the Day Lodge, and maintaining a high level of professionalism and grooming at all times.

Requirements

  • Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment in a leadership role
  • Min 2yrs+ experience in F&B Leadership
  • Adequate knowledge of Beer, Wine & Spirits
  • Experience in supervising/working with a large group of seasonal staff
  • High knowledge of computers and Toast systems (or other POS systems)
  • Must be 19 years old
  • Have a Serving it Right Certificate
  • Possess a strong ability to stay focused and organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in written and verbal correspondence
  • Strong leadership skills
  • High level of cash handling experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead a group of up to 10-15 staff in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a high level of hospitality and service standards.
  • Ensure assigned tasks are complete and monitor service standards.
  • Maintain staff grooming standards.
  • Work with the event coordinator to execute all F&B events.
  • Ensure the safe and responsible service of alcohol at all times.
  • Abide by all liquor laws and the Terms and Conditions of a food primary liquor license.
  • Provide training and support to all employees to achieve guest satisfaction.
  • Communicate with the Management team through manager logs and verbally on a daily basis.
  • Manage all aspects of employee success through one on ones and team coaching.
  • Action building maintenance and attention to risk management in and around the Day Lodge.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and grooming at all times.
  • Perform daily administrative duties relating to payroll, event management, ordering and requisitions.
  • Handle data entry duties for financial reporting or menu printing.
  • Provide on the floor support to all employees to maintain guest satisfaction levels.
  • Assist in monthly inventory counts.
  • Supervise outlet while on shift.
  • Communicate with the management team.
  • Ensure staff are adhering to SWP&SJP training standards.
